Grundfos Commercial Building Services Inc. is seeking Grundfos is seeking an Assembler I to join our production team in Brookshire, TX. Assembler I will be responsible for the in-shop assembly of new construction pumps. Additionally, the AM will assist with inventory-related assignments as well as general shop-related responsibilities, including clean up and building maintenance. The Assembler may be called on to assist with field service-related projects in the shop, and on rare occasions, assist a service mechanic in the field. This position reports directly to the APU Supervisor and will operate daily out of the Brookshire, Texas facility. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

Your main responsibilities:

*Assembly and Disassembly of pumps in shop.

*Completion of comprehensive inspections of pumps and components.

*Identification of the cause(s) of mechanical/electrical pump failures and recommend    corrective action.

*Be environmentally conscious of work environment.

*Daily maintenance of department’s equipment and tools.

*Record and monitor each order’s labor and material.

*Always ensure and control safety and quality assurance.

*Inventory functions, to include stocking, pulling parts, and conducting inventory       audits under direction.

*Adhere to inventory control and other company procedures as applicable.

*Professional conduct at all times.

*May be required to assist service mechanics in field repair.

*Tasks and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the   discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
