Empire West started with great inspiration after touring the Inland Empire industrial market in 2019. We challenged ourselves to think bigger and bring a market-leading industrial project to the Houston market that looked different than everything else. Houston industrial market drivers were changing rapidly and we wanted to position ourselves to take advantage of what we knew was headed our way. Three years later, we have nearly 3.5M square feet on the group at Empire West. Phase I (1M sf) is 100% occupied and Phase 2 (2.4M sf) is 65% leased just 45 days since delivering. It has been a complete team effort from our development, leasing and property management teams. There is still work to be done on the leasing side and we are hopeful to have some exciting announcements in the near future. Check out the video below for some history of the project!
